Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role at “Le Voile” head office located at New Nozha, with direct reporting to Company CEO.

Le Voile Commercial manager will be generally responsible for managing of all commercial activities and management of our commercial team. He shall be responsible for developing the commercial strategy and strategic plans to encourage business growth. Financial planning and budgeting are essential aspects of the job. His duties/ responsibilities shall include: 

  • Set annual Budgeting and Sales targets. Develop and monitor marketing (mainly Digital), sales, and import budgets in relation to targeted profits, market share, and overall directions. Monitoring budgeting expenses.
  • Understand market dynamics, and achieve sales targets. 
  • Monitor performance using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Develop & implement annual marketing (mainly Digital) calendars. 
  • Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing customers.
  • Ensure proper seasonal buying assortment based on historical category performance, and seasonal market trends.
  • Develop accurate and consistent offers with the help of relevant departments
  • Ensure effective distribution of products or services. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve the best positioning for different products and maintain most profitable product mix
  • Collaborate with diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service, import) to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty & achieve business goals.
  • Build and manage relationships with customers
  • Responsible for recruiting and overseeing contractors and vendors.
  • Work on developing and maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders, importers, suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Make sure stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and determine when processes violate regulations. 
  • Analyze sales, marketing, finance and other reports to gain insights to improve performance and maximize growth. Use analytics to create action plans based on data and statistics and interpret results against targets. 
  • Identify and manage commercial risks
  • Develop product risk assessments and pricing structures to work toward commercial efforts. 
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of each route to fully capture all opportunities and maintain the commercial strategy. 
  • Conduct market research as & when needed. 
  • Explore & pursue new business opportunities
  • Explore and open new markets abroad, while maintaining the existing ones. 
  • Develop positive and constructive team work environment for the marketing (mainly Digital) and sales teams. 
  • Ensure on the job training and development for his team. 

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Commercial Manager or similar role (preferably with experience in fashion industry/ business).
  • MBA in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus. 
  • Excellent and proven leadership and management skills
  • High proficiency in decision making & problem solving
  • Extraordinary multitasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical mind and highly results oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and supervise others
  • Solid knowledge of financial processes, including budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Very good experience with Digital marketing.
  • Good understanding of market research needs & methodologies.
  • Team player
  • Awareness of management by objectives (MBO) principles.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Very good command of English language.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office and ERP system is a must
  • Strong project management skills
