We are embarking on an exciting phase of technological transformation and are seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Odoo Developer to spearhead the development and optimization of our business applications using the Odoo platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the upgrade of our current Odoo v9 system to Odoo v17, ensuring a smooth transition and compatibility with existing customizations.
- Manage the migration of our e-commerce platform from Magento 1 to Odoo v17, including data migration, feature replication, and system integration.
- Design and develop custom Odoo modules tailored to the specific needs of an online supplements store.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize system performance and user experience, ensuring high reliability and scalability of the e-commerce platform.
- Maintain code integrity and organization, adhering to best practices in software development.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Position Summary:
The Senior Fullstack Odoo Developer will play a pivotal role in the technical enhancement of GoSupps’ e-commerce platform (magento and Odoo integration). This includes a strategic upgrade from Odoo v9 to v17 and a migration from Magento 1 to Odoo v17. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that meet our evolving business needs, ensuring a seamless transition and minimizing disruption to our operations. Your expertise in Odoo development, particularly in heavily customized systems, will be crucial to our success.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in fullstack development, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in Odoo development.
- Proven track record of working with Odoo v9 and experience with heavily customized systems.
- Demonstrated experience in e-commerce platform migration projects, preferably involving Magento and Odoo.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
- Deep understanding of the Odoo framework, API, custom module creation, and modification.
- Strong knowledge of database management, especially PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments and shell scripting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.
- Needs to be located in Cairo, Egypt
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with upgrading Odoo systems, particularly from v9 to v17.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, e-commerce operations, and the supplements industry.
Job Location:
- 5 Mohammad Nageeb Axis – Al Benefseg 3, New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
Working Hours:
- 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
- Sunday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM (with 1 hour Break)
Monthly Salary:
