Position Overview: As a Software Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients. Your expertise in Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, database installation (PostgreSQL, Cassandra), web services (Node.js), RESTful APIs, Windows Server, Google Cloud, and AWS will be essential in troubleshooting issues, resolving customer queries, and ensuring smooth software operation.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients via email, phone, or ticketing system, addressing inquiries related to software installation, configuration, and usage.
  • Troubleshoot issues with Linux/Ubuntu environments, Docker containers, and database installations (PostgreSQL, Cassandra).
  • Assist clients in setting up and configuring web services (Node.js) and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document support cases, solutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve software functionality and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance support capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical support roles, with a focus on Linux/Ubuntu environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker containerization and database installation (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with web services (Node.js), RESTful APIs, and related technologies.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and Hyper-V virtualization.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud and AWS services, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, Zendesk) and remote support tools is a plus.
