Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for supporting the drafting, negotiation, review & approval, and execution of contracts with vendors and strategic partners.Managing the process of evaluating suppliers, conducting interviews with vendors, negotiating supplier agreements, and managing supplier and vendor contracts. Constantly monitor what the company purchases, delivers, and spends to determine if goods/services are defective or not meeting performance demandsResponsibilities Developing and monitoring Procurement Control Register for all Tender Packages Provide administrative support and management of the tendering and selection process e.g. contact with pre-qualified potential vendors, disseminating RfIs/RfPs, follow-ups etc. Manage the daily activities of the procurement of master planners and PMCs, including; Shortlisting of service providers Preparation of scope, RFIs and RFPs in coordination with business development Coordination of technical and commercial evaluation of bids Final negotiation of bids With the BU present the technical and commercial evaluation outcome and award recommendation to management and Tendering Committee Consolidate all services contracts, comprehensively listing the key terms and conditions Developing Company procurement policies and procedures. Work with engineering, planning, project controls, construction, HSE and quality management to ensure procurement is properly aligned with the expectations of the other groups in understanding and addressing the project requirements. Monitor and make changes as work progresses Creating a Procurement Strategy Counsel, assist and direct subordinate managers in accomplishing the project procurement objectives. Identify, develop and implement training to enable staff to more efficiently and effectively perform assigned functions. Encourage and promote innovation in obtaining procurement objectives.
