Job Description
- Overseeing financial activity;
- Providing fiscal data, analysis and budget recommendations to the director, ensuring compliance requirements are met;
- Participating in decisions having financial impact.
- Preparing budget projections and monitoring budget balances and informing administrators of problem areas;
- Providing support in budget development, allocation and revision;
- Initiating or approving budget and payroll cost transfers;
- Analyzing accounting/personnel records to resolve problems or report discrepancies;
- Assisting with the fiscal year-end closing process;
- Investigating, trouble-shooting, and resolving or recommending solutions to complex issues, inquiries and problems regarding fiscal matters;
- Preparing special finance-related reports;
- Serving as liaison to various service areas.
- Approving and/or disapproving transactions.
- Assisting the CEO in continuous process improvement in the budget management area.
