Job Description
The job holder should be able to perform a variety of general accounting support tasks required by the company:
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting system.
- Document financial transactions, organize and maintain financial records and orderly accounting filing system through using defined computer programs.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., payments, expenses, receipts, invoices, & etc.).
- Pay supplier invoices and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure that receivables are collected promptly.
- Handling the monthly bookkeeping and reporting.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, and other accounting documents.
- Purchase supplies, tenders, and equipment as authorized by management
- Deal with related authorities on behalf of the company
- Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Make best-practices recommendations to management
Job Requirements
- University degree
- Requires 3-5 years experience.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multi-tasks.
- Knowledge of the local market dynamics.
