Job Description

Jotun is growing fast all over the MEIA region (Middle East, India and Africa), and to continue our ambition of further growth and development, we need talented young employees to drive us forward. The Jotun MEIA graduate program is one important tool in meeting this challenge, as it offers the graduates a rich and fulfilling experience along with extensive training.

Jotun MEIA region is looking for young talent for a one year graduate program that will be integrated into a full time permanent position. We will give this opportunity to highly qualified candidates that we believe can make a difference to the future development of Jotun. The Jotun MEIA graduate program will take the graduates through a challenging and exciting journey in the organization. Selected candidates will also be given specific tasks and assignments for a maximum period of 3 months outside their home location within the MEIA region. We are in the search for an analytical and details oriented accountant with an experience in receivables management and preferably costing exposure to join our finance team.

Job description

  • Maintain updated customers contact information to mitigate Jotun’s risk exposure from customer default on paying their debts.
  • Follow up the invoicing and collection cycle for Jotun’s clients by matching invoices against collections and insuring Jotun credit standards are met.
  • Compare customers’ collection pattern against credit terms, contacting clients who deviate from credit terms and acquiring customer confirmation of records.
  • Issue dunning letters and statement of account every month by using the ERP system to ensure timely receipts of payments.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Egyptian nationals only (nationalisation program)
  • Academic degree (Bachelor and/or Master’s degree) in Accounting
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience - costing experience is a plus
  • Full command of verbal and written English and Arabic languages
  • Active supporter of Jotun values.
