Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules outlining all tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Work closely with project teams to identify resource requirements for each project phase.
• Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal project performance.
• Conduct critical path analysis to identify key project activities and potential bottlenecks.
• Propose solutions to mitigate schedule risks and delays.
• Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor the progress of project activities.
• Regularly update project schedules based on actual progress and adjust timelines as needed.
• Identify potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and distribute regular project schedule reports to project stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule status, variances, and potential issues to the project team
• Collaborate with various project teams, including engineering, construction, and environmental, to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights into schedule-related matters.
• Evaluate and improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance overall project efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative scheduling techniques.
