Job Description
- ● Devise experimental treatments for specific brain injuries
- ● Carry out tests of mental faculties and oversee PET scans, MRIs and other scans.
- ● Assist patients in reaching their treatment goals
- ● Advise and consult on the development of pharmaceutical drugs that could affect central nervous system functions
- ● Perform evaluative duties and offer expert opinions in a forensic context at legal proceedings
- ● Participate in conferences and seminars to keep up with recent developments in the field
Job Requirements
- ● Proven work experience as a Neuropsychologist or similar role
- ● A license and certification to practice neuropsychology
- ● Experience working on a research team conducting drug trials may be advantageous
- ● A strong ability to work in research and clinical contexts
- ● Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to remain focused on the task at hand
- ● Relevant training and/or certifications as a Neuropsychologist
