  • Job Details:Project: Establishing a Beet Sugar Factory project which will be a state-of-the-art beet sugar facility with a daily reception capacity of 48,000 tons and beet slicing capacity of 36,000 tons generating white sugar output of 5,700 tons daily during the beet season. The facility is integrated with a raw sugar refining facility with a daily output of 3,000 tons of white sugar operating during off Beet season. The Project is Located in the governorate of Al Minya - Egypt on an area totally of 190,000 Feddan west of River Nile perpendicular to Minya‐Asyut road. Roles: Performing all Technical Procurement activities related to the Contracting/Purchasing of systems, equipment and material for all Company projects through preparing both technical and financial comparisons, negotiating with Vendors in order to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms in accordance with projects’ requirements. Responsibilities : 1. Conduct research on service providers and provide recommendation on potential new sources or alternative materials, prices and equipment. 2. Study and Review project drawings, specifications, tender’s proposal, technical, and financial documents. 3. Issue and handle Requests for Quotations RFQ’s to subcontractors/suppliers, using the e-procurement and updating the Tracking systems. 4. Obtain and file quotations from local and international subcontractors/suppliers. 5. Prepare procurement plan showing way of accession, nominated subcontractors and planned budget. 6. Negotiate subcontracts/P.O.s terms with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc. 7. Prepare both technical and financial comparisons to be reviewed before issuing the PO/Contract. 8. Ensure working according to the company policies and regulations 9. Develop and maintain good relationships with internal/ external stakeholders especially with Suppliers/Subcontractors . 10. Liaises with all requisition such as the Operations, Technical Office, Planner, etc. to affect proper delivery schedules and meet lead-times. 11. Prepare and process letters of intent, purchase orders and Subcontracts for subcontractors/ suppliers. 12. Attend meetings, conferences, conventions and seminars necessary to network with others involved in the procurement process (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to improve the Procurement Department function and effectiveness. 13. Assist in Preparing Tendering queries.

  • Job Details:- Assist the Construction Manager and oversight of the main construction works, contractors and monitor the technical requirements around the Systems. - Ensuring the Works are undertaken safely, in compliance with the Regulatory requirements. - Reply to the tenderers queries and prepare comparison sheets. - Prepare the SOW for the upcoming tenders. - Evaluate the submitted quotations and chose the best. - Observing workmanship; Identifying quality issues, undertaking tests and inspections. - Record and report defects and assist of corrective measures. - Perform duties in a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation with the Construction Supervision Consultant and the Contractor, and in accordance with the highest professional standards. - Become fully conversant with the Contract drawings, specifications and commercial details to ensure that the works are constructed or installed in accordance with the Contract. - Complete as required surveillance, observations and daily and weekly reporting progress; - Monitoring the Contractor to ensure that proper processes are identified and implemented to achieve the required quality compliance. - Provide input into engineering solutions to resolve site-based queries and coordinating resolution of issues. - Contribute to continuous improvement, best practice and lessons learned. - Advise Construction Manager of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving conflicts. - prepare estimates for approval. - prepare and specify ordering materials and Labour contracts
