Senior resettlement assistantFull Time

• Job Details:Carry out preliminary resettlement interviews and initial assessments. Carry out refugee status determination for emergency cases including medical cases. Coordinate with countries through their embassies in Egypt and other partner NGOs the referral of vulnerable refugees including Women at risk, survivors of sexual gender based violence and torture in addition to children. Conduct Best Interest Assessment for child refugees. Carry out protections assessments to identify protection gaps and appropriate durable solutions. Systematically apply an Age, Gender and Diversity perspective in all aspects of the resettlement process. Carry out missions to different locations, field visits and home visits. Prepare written documentation and timely reports for resettlement submission for third country resettlement; ensure that records / files of individual cases are updated. Maintain accurate resettlement statistics as well as update records on individual cases. Correspond and work closely with NGOs / field offices / regional offices. Provide support for resettlement-related training activities, including organization of workshops, participatory assessments, community meetings and meetings. Comply with UNHCR policy and guidelines on HIV/AIDS. Counsel refugees with up-to-date information on UNHCR’s policies and procedures. Follow up on cases from time of submission to final decision and departure. Coordinate travel and departure arrangements for refugees accepted for resettlement. Organize logistical support for governments undertaking resettlement missions.

Health focal point- Community serviesFull Time

• Job Details:Monitor and evaluate the access of service of the refugees to assistance. Liaise with potential partners and evaluate them for the possibility of cooperation. Member of the decision panel in the monthly Best Interest Determination panel for unaccompanied / separated children at risk. Conduct a weekly medical committee and visit with medical assistance partners for health advocacy for over 300 complicated medical cases. Create and update the case management and targeted assistance Standards Operating Procedures for 2013 and 2014. Support UNHCR in implementing office outreach to different African and Iraqi refugee communities in Egypt to determine protection gaps. Conduct interviews/social and protection assessments for refugees at risk. Conduct the appropriate referrals to partners for delivering the assistance needed. Conduct regular field visits, social activities and home visits. Organize and facilitate focus group discussions with refugees. Conduct participatory assessments for persons of concern living with chronic illness and disabilities and conduct focus groups for female refugees at risk. Organize the reception of Salloum UNHCR Camp Refugees in reallocations from the Egyptian-Libyan borders to Cairo. Deliver different trainings internally within UNHCR or externally to partners for purposes of briefings and capacity building. Establish a referral system between UNHCR and different partners. Warden focal point in Charge of security and safety of national and international staff members living in my residence area.

Pharmacist specialistFull Time

• Job Details:Conduct and facilitate meetings and committees with pharmaceutical companies and other relevant organizations including NGOs. Assess and authorize medicinal human medications according to guidelines. Operate a quality surveillance system to ensure the registered drugs comply with the Egyptian Ministry of Health standards and are safe to use. Receive, review and respond to the Evaluation of Medications received from different local and multinational Pharmaceutical Companies. Revise and edit public communications and information materials. Create Egyptian Drug Data base, detect and report fraud and update drug warnings.
