1/ Tasks to be done once or twice per year [long term delivery]:
* Calculate the average Qty required per each item on monthly basis then place an annual purchase orders.
* Placing bulk purchase orders taking into consideration the best material price according to market ratio.
* Follow up every single shipment and its delivery date to be able to determine the risk of shortage to avoid it.
* Annual counting for all material in the warehouse.


2/ Tasks to be done on monthly bases [Long / short term delivery]:
* Negotiate suppliers to obtain the best material price.
* Sending cash plan for all material purchases of the next six months.
* Stabilizing material prices (Long term contract, open order, order consolidation.. etc)
* Updating some parameters upon application system [Supplier price, safety stock, supplier production lead time, minimum Qty per order and unit in use].
* Receiving sales forecast which is the consumption forecast for the next six months that started from launching.
* Calculating required Qty of each item after checking consumption fluctuations then release purchase orders to suppliers accordingly.
* Prepare monthly reports of updated monthly consumption rather than forecasted consumption and send it to supplier to enable supplier to have a general overview of what we are going to produce within a certain period.
* Check with suppliers about order confirmations or proforma-invoices and review supplier delivery dates, Qty and prices.
* In case the payment terms is pre-paid before production, therefore preparing payment request against or proforma-invoice.

3/ Tasks to be done on weekly bases [Long / short term delivery]:
* Review all outstanding orders with all suppliers.
* Organize shipments in coordination with logistics team and follow up shipments.
* Sending constraints to planning coordinator incase of there is a shortage in any components that may block the production flow.
* Review production plan and anticipate shortage then take corrective action accordingly.
* Review production reports and take necessary actions to overcome production problems.

4/ Tasks to be done on daily bases [Long / short term delivery]
* Trouble shooting on production situations and make physical inventory if necessary.
* Reviewing the non-conform stock items on daily bases to prevent and avoid any operational delay in production lines.
* Check with quality team number of non-conformed components and try to find alternative solution under the super vision of R&D team.
* If non-conformity: let warehouse team to put Qty aside then check with supplier either to replace the Qty non-conformed or push supplier to send a credit note with the amount of rejected material.
* Closing the purchase orders across application system then settle the invoice with the financial team incase that terms of payment are deferred..
