Job Description
- Perform competitor analysis for market pricing awareness
- Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions
- Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels for each product & service
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing promotions/deals.
- Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
- Educate the teams to define the pricing structure for company products
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
- Show the potential impact of various pricing strategies, including their effect on margins and costs and how they will impact profitability and sales volume.
- By actively monitoring industry trends, pricing analysts may also develop strategies that take advantage of untapped market segments and help the company gain market share in new avenues
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in statistics, finance, economics, or any related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a pricing analyst
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
- Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
- Ability to think analytically
- Attention to details
- Effective reporting and presentation skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive team player
