Job Description
- Develop a sustainable manpower planning process and long/short term requirements in line with the organizational/HR strategy.
- Implement progressive sourcing strategies including networking, social media, professional associations and organizations to provide access to top tier applicants.
- Design, plan and execute selection processes (interviews, screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.) and liaise with management on recommendations and rationale concerning selected candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process to ensure business needs across The British University in Egypt and functions are met in a timely and consistent manner.
- In charge of planning, developing, managing and overseeing employer branding activities
- Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process and initiate new methodologies to enhance the overall performance and evaluate the impact of such activities
- Provide innovative insight and ideas for filling complex and hard to fill positions.
- Manage all employees contract drafts/renewals/reviews in the process of existing and new hires
- Partner and manage recruitment agencies and other vendors, (i.e. external recruiters) associated with recruitment; ensure vendor contracts are in place and approved.
- Manage the generation of reports on unit performance to ensure management is properly informed and action is taken on areas of concern.
- Maintain accurate and organized recruitment/applicant files in order to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment function.
- Coordinate with internal and external contacts and resolve non-routine queries and problems to ensure smooth flow of processes.
- Oversee distribution and allocation of work tasks to staff within unit to ensure optimal utilization of resources and distribution of activities.
- Coach and mentor staff within the unit to resolve performance related issues to ensure organizational capabilities are leveraged
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources Management
Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience as a recruiter responsible for full cycle recruitment in a corporate or staffing environment for an established organization
Technical Skills:
- Ability to navigate and search on internet; prefer experience with direct sourcing of resumes from employment web sites (e.g. LinkedIn)
- Professional in Microsoft (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Certified CBI
