Job Description
- Supervise the Design Department and all its creative products from concept through publication - hiring and management of the Team, and all art and design for the company
- Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
- Work closely with Content and Marketing departments
- Review, edit and approve designs, artwork, and graphics developed by other team members.
- Ensure deadlines are met and job quality is of the highest standards only
- Generate creative ideas and concepts, and flush out into full multi-media campaigns
- Create original graphic content for the company’s platform, social media pages, and other marketing materials
- Meet art department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and client-service standards
- Review project production factors by studying background information, be aligned with market and competitive environment, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques
- Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes
- Train, coach and evaluate team members
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as Art director
- Ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art required
- Marketing Agency experience a plus
- 10 years as a professional graphic designer
- Fluency in English (reading and writing)
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
