Job Description
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize capability control systems and field instruments
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in industrial operations
- Ensure reliability of field communication systems
- Maximize system availability across PLC, SCADA, and related communication platforms
- Support plant operations through effective control system diagnostics
- Implement modifications to improve system performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in control systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within the mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, instrumentation, and process control.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations in industrial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with system integration, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Willingness to work on-site in an open workplace arrangement as required.
