Job Description
Job Purpose
- Responsible for coaching Medical Representatives while managing the Company’s marketing objectives to achieve the assigned Area sales target. This takes place through individual field visits, coaching visits & attending conferences while controlling all relevant admin activities. Responsibilities also include planning & organizing sales & promotional activities to achieve assigned goals. Encourage effective communication between all team members & other related staff. Comply with company policies & procedures while performing with integrity & full adherence to the company’s code of ethics.
- 1.Supervise the implementation of the plan of action set for the related medical representatives to accomplish promotional sales objectives for the assigned area(s).
- 2.Communicate sales and marketing strategies set by management and introduce policies to medical representatives to become a professional channel between the field and the company.
- 3.Supervise the implementation of marketing strategies to ensure business expansion as appropriate.
- 4. Establish and maintain good customer relations through regular single & coaching visits.
- 5.Approve update of Doctors lists’ & assign sales bricks to medical representatives.
- 6.Assist in the forecasting of sales, expenditure, resources, etc., and utilize current sales reports and other sales data to ensure successful implementation of the company’s plans.
- 7.Motivate and develop medical representatives through frequent field visits and sales meetings.
- 8.Participate in tender business, through providing necessary suggestions on best price and future demands.
- 9.Submit reports to the Sales manager on individual activities, market dynamics, competition & achieved growth versus last year as well as the overall performance of the work area & promotional activities.
- 10.Approve financial & administrative matters related to team members.
- 11.Observe the declining performance curve for his Medical Representatives & place them under appropriate improvement plans.
- 12.Take appropriate decisions about his customers’ needs as per the company’s. policy
- 13.Conduct ongoing performance evaluation for his team while submitting the end-year appraisal on time to identify areas of development needed for the team members and contribute to the H.R directorate in the execution plans.
Job Requirements
- BSc. in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary or Science
- previous Experience as a District Manager or Senior Medical Representative.
