Job Objective

The Medical Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the laboratory equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as perform necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Installation 
• Responsible for pre-installation site inspection and reporting.
• Responsible for installation of medical devices at customer site.
• Abiding by instrument installation manuals.

• Customer Support
• Basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on laboratory instruments.
• Provide high-quality customer support through phone (remote support) and on-site support as scheduled with customers in line with our standards.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications in line with our Standards.

• Service Contracts 
• Meeting target of new service contracts as advised by management.

• Product Knowledge 
• Attending necessary training to work as per our standards.

• Spare Parts:

Ordering and managing spare parts required for own car stock on a monthly basis to match the spare parts order.
