Job Description

Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager with a solid accounting background to lead and oversee all financial and accounting activities of the company. The successful candidate will ensure sound financial management, regulatory compliance, robust reporting, and strategic financial planning to support the growth and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, and cost accounting for the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and local regulations.
  • Lead periodic financial reporting, analysis of variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor production costs, raw material consumption, and overheads to support cost control and profitability improvement.
  • Manage banking relationships, treasury activities, and funding requirements.
  • Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the chemical manufacturing or related industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent understanding of local tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
