Job Summary:

An international Chinese company specialized in the field of micro financing is seeking to Hire internal Auditor

As the Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and operational efficiencies. Your expertise in auditing principles, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis will contribute to the company's overall success and help maintain its reputation for sound governance practices.

Job Description:

1.Audit Planning and Execution:
• Develop risk-based annual audit plans, considering key organizational risks and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to assess the effectiveness of controls.
• Execute audit procedures, including data analysis, interviews, documentation reviews, and process walkthroughs.
2.Internal Control Evaluation:
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.
• Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and evaluate the effectiveness of remedial actions.
3.Compliance and Regulatory Audits:
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update audit programs accordingly.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate external audits and address audit findings.
4.Financial Analysis and Reporting:
• Perform financial analysis and assess financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
• Present audit results to senior management, providing insights into control deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
5.Risk Management Support:
• Assist in the identification and assessment of key organizational risks.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to evaluate risk mitigation strategies and internal control enhancements.
• Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
6.Audit Follow-Up and Continuous Improvement:
• Monitor the status of audit recommendations, ensuring timely closure and appropriate resolution.
• Track and report on the status of audit activities and provide periodic updates to senior management and the board of directors.
• Continuously enhance audit processes and methodologies to align with industry best practices and emerging risks.

 

Job Requirements

• Practical experience of not less than 5 years in the fields of banking and/or Financing companies/activities in functions of finance 
• Previously held a supervisory position in a financial institution or company

• Must have a higher qualification from one of the Egyptian colleges or from a foreign university.
