Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare project budgeting and forecasts
- Montior and control project costs, analyzing variations and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align financial objectives with project goals.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Job Requirements
- Work experience as an Accountant in a Contracting or Construction company
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost management, and financial reporting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
