Job Description
General Job Summary: Implementing the company's accounting system, ensuring accuracy, validity, and smooth operation of the financial document cycle. Preparing financial statements and periodic reports, and working with specialized accounting management software.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Adhering to instructions regarding financial and managerial security, and supervising their implementation.
- Executing approved financial and accounting procedures within the company.
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing document flow to the accounting department, ensuring correctness and required signatures.
- Supervising the registration of transaction documents in relevant accounts and ensuring compliance with applied computer systems and accounting cycles.
- Auditing payroll tables and bonuses, ensuring accurate calculation of deductions and allowances for employees and clients, and updating employee records on computer systems.
- Ensuring departmental compliance with company financial instructions.
- Settling operational accounts.
- Settling licensing accounts.
Authorities:
- Collecting and analyzing financial and accounting data.
- Documenting financial transactions, financial statements, purchasing movements, and sales transactions.
- Maintaining backup copies of financial statements.
Job Requirements
- Work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
