Job Title: Project Director (Mechanical Engineering)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director with over 7 years of mechanical engineering experience to join our team. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on project goals and objectives.
5. Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality.
8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team as needed.

Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
3. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from start to finish.
6. Experience with project management tools and software.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
