Job Description
- Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Building business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
- Visit customers on a regular basis to provide the correct levels of direct customer contact
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
- Communicating officials outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials on-site to identify grades and profitability prospects to drive sales.
- Researching and qualifying new leads.
Job Requirements
- BA Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1+ years experience in fire fighting with minimum one year in pump sales is a must.
- Ability to get new sales leads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (MS office, word, excel, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Hands on technical and mechanical involvement
- Organized, disciplined and capable of meeting deadlines
- Team player
