Job Description

Main Function: Managing the physical inventory and keep it at its optimum level

Duties & Responsibilities & Standards of Performance:                           

  1. Having an updated situation of the inventory at all times.
  2. Placing orders with the supplier according to company protocol and in coordination with sales department according to sales targets and offers.
  3. Coordinating with clearance agents regarding items clearance from customs till full receipt to the office.
  4. Insuring that all incoming items match the description of request.
  5. Clearing any mismatching items with suppliers and/or customs.
  6. Entering all the data of incoming and outgoing items on the software and as per their groupings, except for sales orders.
  7. Making sure the near-expiry items are separated from the far-expiry ones.
  8. Providing sales team and management with item turnover analysis.
  9. Keeping the sales & IOM updated regarding the near expired goods by providing them with weekly reports
  10. Conducting continuous physical count of inventory and reports to IOM.
  11. Controlling losses and additions in stock items.
  12. Following up on items in consignment via following up with the sales team, making sure the consignments are retrieved before reaching near-expiry or sold and providing updated reports at all times.
  13. Supporting the customer service department by supplying their pending orders
  14. Calculating shipments and negotiating quotations with shipping companies
  15. Coordinating with suppliers concerning orders and  shipments
  16. Providing administrative support and updating internal reports
  17. Providing completed and updated files to the accounting department.
  18. Preparing & submitting a daily report to the Operations Manager.
  19. Additional duties might be assigned by the Operations Manager

Job Requirements

Knowledge:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor Degree of Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Professional Background:1 year of experience in the Admin/Operations field.
  • Specific Knowledge:
  • Good knowledge of all the company items
  • Knowledge of operating software & items division
  • Good in English and Arabic
