Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled WOVEN Pattern Maker responsible for creating patterns and samples for woven garments (Kids – Men – Women) while ensuring their quality and compliance with required specifications. The role involves close follow-up throughout all stages of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate patterns for woven garments (Kids – Men – Women) and make the necessary adjustments to facilitate smooth production.
- Prepare size charts and technical files for all models.
- Develop print and embroidery sheets (placement and sizing) for woven garments.
- Oversee the sample-making process in the sample room to ensure quality and specification compliance; review initial samples (Proto) with the pattern and technical file.
- Monitor and review pre-production samples, resolving any issues that arise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Clothing & Textile (Home Economics or Fashion Department – Faculty of Applied Arts), or extensive experience in pattern making – or both.
- 8–15 years of proven experience in pattern drafting.
- Proficiency in Gerber Pattern Design Software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet tools.
- Strong technical skills in various garment manufacturing methods.
- Ability to design patterns manually.
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
