Infection Control specialist

Job Description:

As an Infection Control Specialist at International Hospital Egypt, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of effective infection control measures across all departments of the hospital. Your role will focus on preventing, identifying, and controlling healthcare-associated infections through continuous monitoring, staff education, and adherence to local and international health regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Infection Control Monitoring: Develop and implement infection control policies and protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient and staff safety.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments of hospital environments to identify infection risks and recommend corrective actions.
3. Staff Training & Education: Provide ongoing training and guidance to medical and non-medical staff on infection prevention and control practices.
4. Outbreak Investigation: Investigate and manage infection outbreaks, including root cause analysis and recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
5. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with national and international infection control standards, and prepare detailed reports for hospital management.
6. Data Management: Maintain infection control records, track infection rates, and generate reports for performance analysis and improvement.
