Job Description
- Monitoring cost of construction elements, assessing the cost trends and furnish necessary support to Engineering Dep. regarding cost affairs.
- Keeping proper costing system in analytical manner.
- Continually work with the project construction team to capture and monitoring project cost for each phase and advise Project Manager about deviations from the budget.
- Reviewing the cost and pricing of any required variations order by client.
- Monthly reviewing of the construction inventory balance and highlight any discrepancies.
- Support monthly closing process providing reports to be reconciled with the Engineering Dept. to assure same progress works.
- Monitors and follow up the flow of procurement and purchase activities according to Policy and Procedures.
- Supervise the annual physical inventory-taking process.
- Keeps track of the status of transaction taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors.
- Support in all the company’s tax affairs includes the VAT forms, with-holding tax salaries tax and income tax.
- Supports in the annual audit process and issuing the Financial Statements.
- Support under the direction of his superior in the annual Business Plan on scale of costing, pricing and forecasting various expenses.
- Posting the entries of current accounts settlements.
- Review invoices of service providers before settlement.
- Support in the Accounts Payable tasks and responsibilities.
- Support in Taxes related tasks and responsibilities
- Outputs and Reports in collaboration with his superior:
- Cash-out the requirement for the following day. - Weekly A/P aging/
- Weekly cash-out forecast.
- Support in preparing the monthly accounts closing report related to Cost & Acc. Payble.
- Monthly actual vs budget report highlighting any major variances for Eng. Dept.
- Monthly inventory variances report.
- Share in preparing the monthly and quarterly taxes reports and declarations.
- Quarterly costing report to analyses actual cost versus standard (Profitability Analysis).
- Costing the sold units.
- Annual percentage of completion for projects in progress
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce Accounting, high study is preferable
- 2 to 4 years of related experience.
- Strong analytical and Problem solver and have good presentation and time management skills.
- Leader and Team player.
- Logic thinking, planning, organizing.
- Good command of English Language, written and spoken.
- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
