Job Description
- Do you live and breathe Shopify? Are you a technical expert in crafting custom themes, integrating complex APIs, and scaling e-commerce platforms?
- Diverse is looking for a Senior Shopify Architect who can lead development and integration projects across global platforms.
- Your Mission:
- Architect, build, and maintain advanced Shopify storefronts with custom themes and apps
- Lead integration projects with subscription management platforms and API-based payment gateways
- Work with REST and GraphQL APIs to extend Shopify’s core capabilities
- Optimize storefront performance, checkout flows, and user experience
- Collaborate with design, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
Job Requirements
- 2-5+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, and custom app development
- Proven track record of integrating Shopify with third-party platforms (e.g., subscription billing, payment systems, CRMs, ERP)
- Deep understanding of Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL)
- Familiar with headless commerce concepts and JAMstack (e.g., Next.js, Hydrogen)
- Strong English communication skills – verbal and written
➕ Nice to Have: - German language proficiency
- Knowledge of security best practices for e-commerce and payment data
- Experience working with Shopify Hydrogen or Storefront API
- Background in SaaS or multi-tenant e-commerce models
