Job Description
Calculate and analyze product and production costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
Monitor and analyze actual versus standard costs and investigate variances.
Maintain accurate cost accounting records and ensure proper cost allocation across products and business units.
Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory costs.
Prepare periodic cost reports and provide insights into cost variances and trends.
Reconcile inventory and cost accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Support month-end closing activities and prepare cost-related journal entries.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost information.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–8 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing companies.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing costing and production cost analysis is mandatory.
Strong understanding of inventory valuation, cost allocation, and variance analysis.
Experience with ERP systems is mandatory; Oracle experience is preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
