Job Description
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide expert advice on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
- Maintain up-to-date patient medication records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Offer health and wellness counseling, including guidance on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and resolve medication-related issues.
- Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, and timely reordering.
- Conduct routine quality checks on medications and ensure all products are within expiry dates and stored appropriately.
- Educate patients on the correct use of medical devices and provide support for chronic disease management.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote public health awareness and preventive care.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant pharmacy environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Egypt.
- Up to 1 year of experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dispensing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and basic computer applications.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to flexible work schedules as needed.
