Job Description

Situated in a prime location overlooking the breathtaking Mediterranean coastline, Hotel 59 is the latest addition to the esteemed portfolio of Beau Site Hotel in Marsa Matrouh. Beau Site Hotel is a renowned hospitality management company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of hotels. Our commitment to excellence and innovation sets us apart in the industry, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our newest property, Hotel 59.

We are looking for an accomplished and visionary General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations in Marsa Matrouh. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to all departments, ensuring cohesive teamwork, effective communication, and alignment with company goals and standards.

Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments, to ensure seamless and efficient functioning.

Guest Experience: Maintain the highest standards of service excellence to meet and exceed guest expectations, consistently delivering memorable experiences that reflect the brand's reputation for luxury and hospitality.

Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, revenue projections, and cost controls to optimize financial performance and achieve profitability targets.

Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for maximizing occupancy, revenue, and market share through effective sales initiatives, promotional activities, and customer relationship management.

Human Resources: Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous development.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and brand requirements, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, government authorities, and community organizations to enhance the hotel's reputation and contribute positively to the local economy and society.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of 15-20 years in hotel management roles, with at least 10 years of experience as a General Manager in a resort hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a strategic mindset and exceptional decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends, best practices, and technology solutions.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
