Job Description

Minlo is currently hiring FP&A Business Partner to join our Finance team located in our headquarters in New Nozha. Minlo is the brand owner for Tank, Koldair, UNO, and the authorized distributer for Braun beauty consumer products. We are the market leaders in manufacturing water filters, dispensers, coolers, and ice boxes.

Job Summary:

The position holder should be a highly skilled, strong analytical, passionate and results oriented FP&A designate to partner with senior members of the organization from Marketing, Commercial and Sales for the achievement of the Sales and Marketing (S&M) AOP, provide daily, monthly and quarterly FP&A support needed to track and follow up the S&M AOP, develop, enhance and improve the quality of S&M FP&A reports/KPIs, including but not limited to the following:

  • Efficiently utilize the company’s ERP system(s) (Microsoft Dynamics AX and power BI) to extract and validate all required analytical data and reports to enhance and improve the quality of reporting S&M expenses.
  • Develop a unique S&M tracking system/report to identify the S&M spend by activity, providing a thorough and clear analysis of actual S&M spend by activity vs. AOP and the ROI from the activity, sharing and presenting findings, learnings and insights onto the viability of the spending activity to senior members of the S&M and Finance team.
  • Maintain and timely update monthly actual vs. AOP/Fcst/PY sales records including:
    • Updating a monthly data base highlighting actual vs. AOP/Fcst/PY sales volume and value by channel, category and SKU.
    • Detailed tracking, analysis and reporting of monthly discounts by channel, category and SKU and implement adjustments (if needed).
    • Gross Profit (GP) analysis by channel, category and SKU and reporting on variances vs. AOP/Fcst/PY with recommendation to improve GP% including new pricing and promotions.
    • Update pricing modules to calculate and validate gross selling prices per SKU to develop Fcst revenue per channel per customer.
    • Track, extract, and analyze sales data from Power BI Daily Sales Report (DSR) and report on key variances vs. AOP/Fcst/PY.
  • Report on monthly Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) performance including extracting, updating and validating DSO records from the ERP system and generating analytical DSO reports to management indicative of sales, collection, overdue per channel/customer, sales area/salesman to enhance collection and cash flow cycle
  • Attend periodic S&OP meetings and assist in running all the required analysis for the volume update shared during the meetings, highlighting any risks or opportunities on the gross profit (GP) per each category and the overall company’s GP.
  • Assist in performing the duties associated with the month end (ME) and year-end (YE) closing including provision of quality cause of change analysis (COC) for the S&M expenses, DSO vs. AOP/Fcst/PY performance.
  • Proactively highlight to the S&M team and FP&A senior manager potential spending risks or opportunities for cost savings and attend to all queries and concerns raised by the S&M team on their actual monthly results vs. AOP/Fcst/PY.
  • Assist in the preparation and timely submission of AOPs/Fcts/SBPs as per the company’s processes, procedures and guidelines, through working closely with the senior FP&A manager and the S&M team to prepare and submit S&M Opex, S&M spend by activity, Capex Plan as related to S&M, cash budget, CCC (DSO calculation), maintaining a complete track record of key assumptions for growth drivers and/or savings opportunities.
  • Close monitoring and follow up on action plans to realize productivity and cost savings initiatives as related to S&M.
  • Tracking and reporting progress towards achieving agreed upon S&M KPIs and assisting the S&M team in providing their required KPI reporting.
  • Other assigned tasks including Fcst and Outlook (OL) latest estimates updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university. 
  • A maximum of 3-5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven track record of being a strong and effective FP&A business partner, acting with full responsibility and trust with business team leads to analyze and present key data, findings and drivers for a sound and effective decision making/result.  
  • Excellent command of English language, spoken and written.
  • Advanced excel user and power point PPTs.
  • Experience using and working comfortably with ERP systems (Familiarity with MS Dynamics and Power BI is an added plus)  
  • Experienced in multiple financial modeling (i.e. buildup of Budgets/Fcst, variance analysis models, BS/CF models etc.)
  • Strong analytical mindset focused on details while keeping a good intuition and business sense.
  • Demonstrates agility, strong will and determination to operate and reach desired results at no compromise.
  • Engages and communicates well with cross functional teams by acting as a real business partner, providing value-added support and analytical business insights to facilitate and enhance decision-making.
  • Ability to clearly present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Desire and eagerness to continuously learn, grow, develop and enhance interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to show flexibility in handling and prioritizing multiple tasks and deliverables within agreed upon timeline.
