Perform month end accounting including journal entry preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Analyze monthly results at fulfillment center and corporate levels.
Create weekly & monthly P&L and assist in analyzing financials for variances to budget.
Maintain lease agreements and determine the accounting implications of all leases.
Collaborate directly with the operations and IT teams to drive efficiencies and cross-team knowledge throughout systems.
Create detailed narratives of all procedures and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal quality controls.
Assist in audits and tax returns.
Assist in examining critical accounting estimates and assumptions around expense recognition in addition to booking & analyzing monthly results for the Khazenly Fulfillment Network partners.
Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
Execute cash disbursements for COD orders.
Manage invoicing and AR process.

3-6 yrs. of experience of which 2 yrs. of proven experience as Senior Accountant.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Awareness of business trends
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
