Job Summary:
The Junior Graphic Designer will create visually appealing marketing materials, develop creative concepts, use industry-standard software, work closely with the marketing team, stay up-to-date with design trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Job Functions & Authorities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and impactful designs for various marketing materials, including social media graphics, website banners, print advertisements, and email campaigns.
- Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts, ensuring they align with the brand guidelines and objectives.
- Create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects).
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, target audience, and desired outcomes.
- Research and stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve skills and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, social media specialist and senior graphic designer to ensure cohesive and visually appealing designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
