Job Description

1. Market and Route Development

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis for potential new routes, underserved destinations, and profitable frequencies.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for new destinations using IATA, MIDT, and GDS data.

2. Partnerships and Alliances

  • Identify and negotiate commercial partnerships with travel agents, OTAs, GSAs, corporations, and tourism boards.
  • Lead discussions on interline, codeshare, and joint-venture opportunities.

3. Sales & Revenue Enhancement

  • Design and execute revenue-generating initiatives, including charter contracts, corporate travel programs, and group business.
  • Develop and track incentive programs for key accounts and partners.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with airports, civil aviation authorities, tourism ministries, and commercial partners to support route launches and incentive packages.

5. Data-Driven Reporting

  • Deliver regular reports on route performance, competitor benchmarking, and market share trends.
  • Use dashboards and BI tools to track KPIs and support commercial decision-making.

6. Project Management

  • Lead the execution of business development projects including market entry strategies, route start-up tasks, and commercial activation plans.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Aviation Management or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in an airline, GSA, or aviation consultancy (preferably in commercial or network planning).
  • Strong understanding of airline economics, pricing, and aviation regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in GDS (e.g., Amadeus), MIDT, and airline planning tools (e.g., OAG, Sabre, Cirium).
  • Fluent in English (Arabic/French/Spanish is a plus for regional roles).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen and project management capability.
