Job Description
Objective
To ensure optimal contract administration, claims handling, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging expert knowledge in construction law, FIDIC contracts, and dispute resolution practices.
Functional Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Manage claims, variations, and contractual correspondence in compliance with legal and contractual frameworks.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual risks, mitigation strategies, and dispute avoidance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal advisors, and external stakeholders on all contract-related matters.
- Conduct contractual audits and ensure compliance with project deliverables and legal requirements.
- Support project teams during tendering, execution, and close-out phases from a contractual perspective.
- Participate in the preparation of extension of time (EOT) claims and delay impact analysis.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Min 3 years Experience in the construction industry.
- 4-6 years of specialized experience in contracts and claims management.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts conditions and construction dispute mechanisms.
- Solid understanding of contract law, construction law, and delay analysis methodologies.
- Certified training in contracts and claims management (e.g., CLAC, ECM, CCMP, or equivalent).
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in dispute resolution is a valuable advantage.
