Job Description
• Deep dive into tender documents (drawings, specifications) to meticulously understand project scope, identify potential risks, and translate them into high-quality finishing requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals that highlight our capabilities in delivering exquisite finishes within budget and timeframe.
• Lead the cost estimation process, ensuring meticulous accuracy for high-end materials, skilled labor, and specialized equipment.
• Source and compare quotes from specialized vendors and subcontractors with a proven track record in high-end finishing projects.
• Develop and manage tender clarifications, meticulously negotiating terms to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Oversee tender records with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with all tendering regulations.
• Spearhead the compilation and submission of compelling bid packages that showcase our commitment to exceptional finishing.
• Support the evaluation and selection of winning bids (if applicable), ensuring alignment with our high-quality standards.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills:
• In-depth understanding of tendering processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks during the bidding process.
• Ability to interpret complex tender documents (drawings, specifications) and translate them into actionable plans.
• He has two years of experience as a site engineer in finishing projects.
• He has experience in pricing high end finishing projects such as (residential, offices, and hospitality projects).
Commercial Skills:
• Excellent cost estimation skills, including accurate calculations for materials, labor, and equipment specific to the project type.
• Experience in sourcing and comparing quotes from vendors and subcontractors, with strong negotiation skills.
• A strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial terms.
Project Management Skills:
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy throughout the tendering process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, contracts) and external stakeholders (vendors, clients).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of construction tendering software
• A strong understanding of sustainability practices in construction can be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present proposals and negotiate effectively.
• A strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial terms, and high-end finishing materials.
