Vehicle Maintenance Manager Sinai, Egypt

The Multinational Force and Observers seeks an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Manager, who will be responsible for the planning and supervision of the Force’s 600 strong vehicle fleet as well as maintaining them in a safe, roadworthy, and presentable condition.
The principal areas of responsibility include:

Ensuring that the required number of vehicles is available at all times to meet operational requirements and that each vehicle is maintained and repaired in a cost-effective manner; coordinating vehicle recovery throughout the Sinai following breakdown or accident; preparing management reports and repair cost estimates in accordance with Force Standing Orders; arranging and implementing specialist training; ensuring that all personal protective equipment is used when required; and managing the budgets for vehicle maintenance and new vehicle purchases.
The position is in Sinai, Egypt, in an international work community consisting of military and civilian personnel of numerous nationalities.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have:
U.K. City and Guilds or U.S. 2-year Junior College/Tech School standards or equivalent educational programs such as those conducted by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. A minimum of 15 years’ experience in vehicle servicing with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position responsible for vehicle fleet maintenance and repair operations. Advanced knowledge of vehicle diagnostic test equipment. Strong computer literacy. Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4 HANA, is a must. Previous experience in a military environment and/or the Middle East would be helpful.
This is an MFO International Staff position with a total annual salary of USD$91,239. The position is offered as a two-year, renewable, unaccompanied-status contract and comes with a benefits package that includes housing, meals, recreational facilities, and worldwide health insurance coverage.
