* Oversee and manage all accounting operations at the project site, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company financial policies.
* Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review.
* Maintain accurate bookkeeping, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
* Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
* Monitor project expenditures, verify invoices, and control costs to stay within budget.
* Prepare and review project financial reports, ensuring timely submission.
* Coordinate with auditors for internal and external financial audits.
* Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, and other regulatory filings.
* Supervise and mentor accounting team members at the project site.
* Develop and implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
* Work closely with procurement and operations teams to validate financial transactions.
* Assist in contract financial management, including tracking payments and obligations.
* Manage bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management for the project.
* Prepare forecasts and financial projections to support decision-making.
* Investigate financial discrepancies and provide corrective actions.
* Maintain organized financial records for easy access and audits.
* Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and corporate policies.
* Support management in strategic financial planning for the project.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in accounting operations.
