Job Description

Project Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall project from planning and execution through final completion and handover, in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Develop, monitor, and control the baseline project schedule, milestones, and critical activities.

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including Civil, Architectural, MEP, Technical Office, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, and Commercial teams.

  • Supervise all construction activities and ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with approved schedules, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.

  • Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to achieve optimum productivity and project progress.

  • Review and coordinate Method Statements, ITPs, Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, and RFIs with the relevant departments.

  • Maintain continuous coordination with the Client/Developer and Consultant and resolve technical, contractual, and execution-related issues.

  • Monitor project progress against the approved baseline and implement corrective actions to recover delays.

  • Ensure effective implementation of QA/QC and HSE requirements throughout all project phases.

  • Monitor project costs, cash flow, resource utilization, and overall financial performance in coordination with the Commercial and Finance teams.

  • Review and coordinate BOQ, Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), Variations, Claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) requirements.

  • Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution.

  • Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.

  • Prepare and review periodic Progress Reports, Cost Reports, and Management Reports.

  • Lead and attend regular Progress Meetings with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

  • Monitor critical activities and proactively remove technical, commercial, and operational constraints.

  • Ensure proper coordination between structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works to avoid conflicts and rework.

  • Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and final inspection activities.

  • Supervise the project handover process, including As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, warranties, and final documentation.

  • Represent the company professionally in meetings and official communications with the Client/Developer and Consultant.

  • Ensure successful project delivery within the approved Time, Cost, Quality, and Safety objectives.
