Job Description
Daily cash and liquidity management:
- Complete the daily cash management process and daily TMS checklist
Gather closing and current balances. - Assist with the forecasting payments and receipts going through these accounts
Update the TMS to derive the closing cash position. - Responsible for reconciliations of payments/receipts due the previous day
Follow up on banks for missing statements.
Payment process:
- Enter payment into both the TMS and e-banking systems.
- Issue digital cheques and some manual payments (letters/cheques).
- Gathering approvals for payment release.
- Ensure that correct controls and e-banking security are maintained at all times.
- Reduce manual payments and maintain segregation of duties.
Bank relationship management:
- Track and follow up on queries with the banks relating to payment and cash management
Treasury instruments. - Ensure timely input of trade instruments, overdrafts, deposits, loans and FX into the TMS
Amend instruments, roll-over, partial settlement and refresh maturities on Treasury instruments.
Cash forecasting:
- Collate business entities 12 weeks and 12 month's forecast submissions on a regular basis so top management can manage covenants, debt drawdowns and repayments.
Treasury policy and reporting:
- Ensure the Treasury policy is followed and communicated.
- Assist with input into the monthly Treasury pack.
- Provide input for internal/external presentations.
- Assist finance with month-end reporting and I/C loan balances.
Bank mandates/e-banking/KYC. - Input/upload non-editable payment templates in e-banking systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other closely related fields.
- Excellent command of English
- 0 to 3 years' experience in Financial Analyst or Treasury accounting role.
- Knowledge of Treasury analytics policies, standards, and procedures.
- Good computer skills with programs such as MS Package.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and mathematic abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
