Job Description

Job Brief

Responsible for masterminding, outlining and developing the construction& production processes of all new components and for validation projects. Designs the project goals and success markers determine how success will be measured and tracked. Ensures the project remains on time and on budget and help motivate team members to hit their goals. Acts as a liaison between the project team and upper-level management. Prepares and presents progress reports and ensure the project is furthering organizational goals.

Main Duties& Responsibilities of the Role

  • Planning and managing complex customer projects within a given time, costs, and quality in terms of support, rollout and training and takeover support at own responsibility upon customer takeover
  • Project management of a team with employees from the development, production, purchasing, quality and finance departments
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Responsibility for compliance with project scheduling, costs, and quality
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress and identification of project critical developments
  • First contact person for the customer and the development team for all project issues
  • Set up test infrastructures, manage them in an organizational sense, and are responsible for compliance and optimization of safety regulations
  • Preparation and implementation of project meetings and drafting and updating of the project plan
  • Development of guidelines, operating instructions and work instructions 
  • Preparation of quarterly reports for the CEO
  • Responsible for compliance with all legal regulations for the manufacture of medical products
  • Responsible for compliance with all legal regulations in the field of occupational safety
  • Responsible for compliance with all legal regulations in the field of environmental protection
  • Team coordination

Job Requirements


Education & Credentials

  • Completed engineering studies in medical technology or mechanical engineering
  • Master of Project Management / PMP Certification

Professional Training

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Construction Management

  • Crisis management


  • At least 10 years of relative experience
  • 3 years of practical experience in the field of metal cutting


  • Safe work with MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of certifications and approvals
  • Familiarity with Smart Sheet software's collaboration and time management tools
  • Experience with process improvement and inventory control
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
