- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Knowledge of implementing authentication strategies (e.g., JWT, OAuth) and managing user roles/permissions.
- Proficient in Git for code versioning and collaboration.
- Understanding of security best practices, including data encryption, securing API endpoints, and handling sensitive information.
