Job Description
As an IT Professional , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's computer systems and networks. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective IT solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain the company's computer systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Monitor and respond to IT support tickets, providing timely resolution to technical issues and user inquiries.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs, recommend improvements, and implement IT projects to support business objectives.
- Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, both on-site and remote, to maintain a reliable and secure network environment.
- Provide technical assistance and training to end-users on software applications, hardware usage, and IT best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT to recommend innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Professional or in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software applications.
- Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, productivity tools).
- Familiarity with network protocols, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and configuring network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience in implementing and managing cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA) are advantageous.
