Job Description

The Senior eCommerce Specialist is responsible for driving online sales & overall ecommerce performance across search, merchandising, Catalog creation and overall experience on the app & web . This role plays a critical part in enhancing the customer experience, optimizing product visibility, and ensuring that the online store is always up-to-date and aligned with the company’s business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce operations, a keen understanding of online merchandising strategies, online search and the ability to manage large product catalogs efficiently.

  1. Ecommerce:
    • Develop and implement eCommerce trading strategies to maximize sales and profitability across all digital channels.
    • Analyze online sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Monitor and optimize product pricing, promotions, and discounts in alignment with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment of promotional campaigns and drive traffic to the website.
    • Report on key trading KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and online revenue.
  2. App Merchandising:
    • Responsible of the online merchandising efforts to ensure products are presented in the most appealing and customer-friendly way.
    • Curate product assortments, collections, and landing pages that drive engagement and sales.
    • Optimize product placement, category structure, and search results to enhance the customer journey.
    • Coordinate with the creative and content teams to ensure product images, descriptions, and other content are of the highest quality.
    • Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies to improve site performance and customer experience.
  3. Catalog Management:
    • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and organization of the online product catalog.
    • Ensure product data, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, and inventory levels, are accurate and up to date.
    • Manage the onboarding of new products and ensure they are properly categorized and presented on the website.
    • Coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.
    • Ensure compliance with SEO best practices to improve product visibility and searchability.

Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in eCommerce business, merchandising, and catalog management. Experience is managing online search is preferred not mandatory
  • Proven experience in driving online sales growth and managing product catalogs for an online retail business.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
