Job Description
"To establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with potential and existing corporate and prospective donors in order to generate sufficient funds to meet annual fundraising goals and targets."
- Develop comprehensive annual and monthly growth plans for the assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with the overall fundraising strategy, objectives, and targets.
- Achieve the annual donation target as set by the organization.
- Meet work-related performance targets (e.g., number of visits, follow-ups) to fulfill
overall job objectives. - Conduct both desk and field research to build a strong pipeline of potential donor
partnerships within the assigned donor segment and proactively approach identified
prospects. - Identify the most effective channels for approaching potential donors and collaborate
with the marketing team to develop tailored communication messages. - Draft well-researched protocols and proposals for potential collaborations, based on a
thorough analysis of each donor’s industry and interests, in coordination with the
department head. - Manage and nurture existing donor accounts through regular follow-ups, meetings, and
partnership proposals, ensuring consistent generation of both in-kind and financial
donations. - Maintain an up-to-date donor database, accurately recording all transactions,
information, and updates related to assigned accounts. - Prepare and submit regular reports detailing account updates, project progress, and
performance analysis (actual vs. planned) to the department head for review and feedback. - Evaluate partnership effectiveness on a regular basis, conducting account reviews with
donors to stay informed about their evolving interests and adjust strategies accordingly. - Plan and manage fundraising campaign launches targeting the assigned account
segment, ensuring timely delivery within budget, in close collaboration with the marketing
team. - Work with the marketing team to develop appropriate materials and products for special
donor projects, ensuring consistency with Dar Al Orman’s messaging. - Ensure accurate registration of generated income in the organization’s records and
coordinate with the collection team to ensure timely closure of all related processes.
Job Requirements
- Education: BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a fundraiser, business development, sales, or a relevant role for at least 3 years.
- Working in the field of NGOs is a privilege.
- Business to Business experience is a plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency MS-Office is mandated.
