Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent agent-based AI systems. You will be driving the implementation, and deployment of production-grade AI solutions, leading junior team members, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI in real-world applications.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on technical leadership, is comfortable working on end-to-end AI pipelines, and stays ahead of the curve with the latest agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced NLP and LLM-based applications.
- Build, maintain, and scale agentic AI systems and RAG pipelines for real-world use cases.
- Architect and manage multi-agent and single-agent AI frameworks.
- Work extensively with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS) for semantic search and retrieval.
- Leverage orchestration tools and frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK (or similar) to implement complex workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align AI solutions with strategic goals.
- Mentor junior data scientists, provide code and design reviews, and establish best practices.
Deploy AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Ensure reproducibility and scalability through Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Stay updated on emerging AI research and assess its practical applicability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field (Ph.D. is a plus).
- 6+ years of professional experience in NLP, machine learning, or AI system development.
- Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (fine-tuning, evaluation, integration, and prompt engineering).
- Strong expertise in agentic AI architectures and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of vector search principles and vector database implementations.
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML libraries (Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch, etc.).
- Practical experience with cloud deployment, containerization, and orchestration.
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-modal AI experience (text, images, audio, video).
- Experience contributing to open-source AI/ML projects.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices for LLMs.
