Job Description
● Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the business
● Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing
● Conduct market research to understand industry trends and pricing
● Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order to delivery
● Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
● Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
● Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
● Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
● Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities as required
Job Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
● Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
● Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
● Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
● Experience in the food industry is preferred, but not required.
