Job Description
- Pre-sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the software’s features, functionality, and business benefits.
- Assist in the creation of sales proposals, RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, and technical documentation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Act as a technical expert on the company’s software products, understanding the architecture, functionalities, and integrations.
- Offer technical consultancy to potential customers, helping them understand how the software can meet their specific requirements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest software updates and features.
- Client Engagement:
- Engage with customers to gather detailed requirements and conduct needs assessments.
- Provide technical support during client meetings, both in-person and remotely.
- Address technical queries and challenges raised by clients during the sales cycle.
- Solution Design:
- Translate customer needs into a technical solution by developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and software prototypes.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to design custom solutions, if necessary, to meet unique customer requirements.
- Sales Enablement:
- Work closely with the sales team to strategize on client presentations, workshops, and competitive positioning.
- Develop technical sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and whitepapers to aid in the sales process.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide product training sessions for both internal teams and customers.
- Ensure a smooth handover of technical knowledge to the post-sales and implementation teams after the sale is closed.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development, enterprise software, SaaS products, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience: 3 + years of experience in a presales or similar technical role, preferably in the software industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and solutions that solve real business problems.
